NELSON, USA CLUB

Feel a little homesick around Thanksgiving & Christmas?  Hearing some American accents and chatting about home WILL make you feel better!

The Nelson, USA Club will get together on Friday 27 November from 5.30pm at the Tahunanui Beach BBQs to network and build friendships with American families living in the Nelson region.

This will also provide an opportunity to teach our American citizen kids about the meaning of Thanksgiving and to incorporate your American family traditions into our Kiwi lifestyle.

Meet at the Tahunanui Beach BBQ area where your family may BBQ/picnic/fish & chips or just stop in for a catch-up chat between 5.30 – 7.30pm.  Please pass on this invitation to any other Americans living in this area. We can all be thankful together that the beautiful Nelson sun is shining and we live in paradise – cancelled if wet!

Drive past the Tahunanui Lions Playground until the end of the parking area where you’ll see this park entrance:

Walk up the path to the BBQ shelter where the electric grills are free.

There is a quick path to Tahunanui Beach for the kids to play and plenty of takeaway food outlets nearby – including fish & chips, fried chicken, pizza, burgers, Thai, etc.
