NELSON, USA CLUB

Join us on Sunday November 25, 2007 between 11am and 1pm at Rabbit Island under the shadecloth sail.  We hope everyone is looking forward to getting together for Thanksgiving and meeting up with other USA families for a chat.
This event will be totally Bring-Your-Own food and fun.  We hope you can plan a wonderful picnic at the beach for your family and celebrate a Kiwi Thanksgiving in the sun alongside other American families living in the Nelson area.  We will meet under the big sail (shadecloth) structure that we have booked through the council – look out for the American Flags and, as always, bring your American friends!

Join us on Sunday October 28, 2007 between 2pm and 4pm at MacMillans Café, Bateup Road, Richmond.  Hope everyone is looking forward to getting together for Halloween and meeting up with other American families again here in Nelson. We encourage the kids to dress in costume – we’ll take photos and put them on our website!  If you’d like to try carving a pumpkin between now and then – bring it along and show it off!  You might also like to bring a few treats to give to the Trick-or-Treaters.  The refreshments will be Buy-Your-Own at the café and we’ll have some outdoor undercover tables set aside for our group.  There is a playpen, highchairs and changing facilities for babies – lots of running around room, a tractor and some animals to visit for the older kids.  As always, you’re welcome to bring your American friends!
